Work base: Recycling Bulking Depot, Rhuddlan Road, Abergele
Conwy County Borough Council carries out waste and recycling collections to households and businesses in Conwy and operates a Recycling Bulking Station and Waste Transfer Station to receive the material where it is bulked and sent for reprocessing. Our focus is on collecting clean, segregated, high-value materials that can be used to make new products.
What you'll be doing:
* Handling and sorting recycling materials safely and efficiently
* Assisting with loading / unloading vehicles at the bulking station
* Keeping the bulking station clean, safe and organised
* Following health and safety procedures at all times
What we're looking for:
* Someone who is reliable, punctual and willing to get stuck in
* A team player with a positive can-do attitude
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
