Higher Level Teaching Assistant
The Early Years Quality Improvement Team within the School Improvement Service is seeking to recruit an exceptional practitioner with expert knowledge of early year's pedagogy who will inspire and motivate practitioners working across all sectors within the Early Years Foundation Stage. This is a part-time permanent post (14.8hrs/2 days) from the 1st September 2024, or as soon afterwards as possible. Please note, this is not a term time only post. This is an exciting opportunity for highly skilled practitioners to join our enthusiastic and passionate Early Years Quality Improvement team. Candidates must have a proven track record in aspirational teaching and learning, leading to positive outcomes for children. The ability to communicate effectively and disseminate practice clearly and passionately are essential to the role. Creative and critical thinkers are very welcome to apply.
The HLTA role involves:
1. Support and challenge for settings across Lancashire
2. Writing and delivering training and cluster / network meetings
3. Travel across the county
4. Developing the learning environments at the Early Years Professional Development Centre
5. Working with other professionals within the service
