Administrative Assistant, Horsham - Leading Sussex-Based Accountancy Firm


An established and highly regarded accountancy firm in Sussex is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide efficient administrative and organisational support across the firm.


This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong communication and coordination skills who thrives in a professional environment and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.


Key Responsibilities:

* Communication: Answering phones and emails, acting as a first point of contact, and corresponding with clients and internal teams.
* Completing administrative tasks including scanning, answering emails, sorting, scanning, and distributing post
* Scheduling & Coordination: Arranging meetings.
* Record Management: Filing documents, updating databases, and maintaining organized office records.
* Office Operations: Ordering and managing office supplies and resources.
* Document Preparation: Typing letters, reports, and other business documents.
* Support & Collaboration: Assisting managers and team members with administrative tasks


Essential Skills

* Organization & Time Management: The ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
* Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Attention to Detail: Essential for accurate record-keeping, data input, and document preparation.
* Problem-Solving: A flexible and resourceful approach to address issues and anticipate needs.
* Proactiveness: An ability to work independently with minimal direction and take initiative.
* Experience in Accountancy practice desirable but not essential.
* Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
