Key Responsibilities:
The Management Consultant will contribute to one or more of the following areas:
* Lead the design and execution of complex, cross-functional change programmes within banking. Apply structured programme governance, risk management and financial control frameworks.
* Engage senior stakeholders across both business and technology, acting as a trusted advisor to communicate performance, manage expectations, and influence decision-making.
* Mobilise and lead diverse, multidisciplinary teams. Mentor junior consultants and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
* Apply sector-specific knowledge to shape transformation strategies that align to regulatory shifts, customer expectations, and market trends.
* Oversee the successful delivery of consulting engagements, ensuring measurable outcomes and client satisfaction.
* Contribute to internal thought leadership, capability development, and proposition building within the banking consulting practice.
Key Skills & Experience:
Applicants should demonstrate strong capabilities in the following areas:
* Broad knowledge of commercial or retail banking, including core banking systems, lending, payments, mortgages, cards, and regulatory change.
* Proven ability to manage senior client relationships, drive delivery, and lead high-performing teams.
* Experience delivering strategy and transformation programmes within financial services, ideally in a consulting environment.
* Understanding of emerging technologies such as AI, Big Data, APIs, Blockchain, Microservices, and Cloud—and how they influence operating models and enterprise architecture.
* Experience in M&A, integrations, or large-scale change programmes.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured approach to identifying solutions.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to distil complex concepts into impactful, client-friendly narratives.
