Our client, a private equity-backed US advisory firm, is seeking to appoint a Head of Fixed Asset Advisory – EMEA to establish and lead its regional capability. This is a strategic leadership role with full responsibility for building, scaling, and driving the growth of the Fixed Asset Advisory offering across EMEA.
The successful candidate will combine deep technical expertise in fixed asset valuations with strong commercial acumen, leadership capability, and a proven track record of delivering growth in complex, multi-jurisdictional environments
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
* Build and lead the EMEA Fixed Asset Advisory practice, setting and executing the regional growth strategy
* Establish the firm as a market-leading provider of machinery, equipment, and real estate-related valuation services
Business Development
* Originate and develop client relationships across key sectors including energy, infrastructure, renewables, manufacturing, healthcare, and real estate
* Identify and convert new revenue opportunities across insurance, lending, transaction, and financial reporting use cases
* Collaborate with global teams to leverage cross-border opportunities
* Collaborate with global Risk Solutions practice to drive new and expand on existing property insurance opportunities and relationships
Client Delivery
* Oversee the execution of complex valuation assignments across multiple jurisdictions
* Ensure delivery of high-quality valuation services for purposes including:
* Insurance and claims
* Work with experienced US based operations team to deliver highest quality insurance valuation to existing and future clients
* Asset-based lending
* Purchase price allocation
* Financial reporting and taxation
* Restructuring and insolvency
* Lead large-scale engagements ranging from mid-market to global, multi-billion-dollar asset portfolios
Operational Management
* Build and manage a high-performing, geographically distributed team
* Quickly expand team to support existing property insurance opportunity pipeline
* Drive operational excellence, scalability, and efficiency across engagements
* Implement best-in-class processes, tools, and methodologies
* Collaborate with US based operations team to leverage institutional knowledge for delivery of EMEA based engagements
Stakeholder Management
* Act as a senior ambassador for the business across clients, partners, and internal stakeholders
* Work closely with senior leadership and private equity sponsors to deliver on growth objectives
Candidate Profile
Experience
* Extensive experience in fixed asset valuation / appraisal (machinery & equipment and/or real estate)
* Proven leadership experience at Director / Managing Director level within a recognised advisory firm
* Strong track record of building and leading teams and scaling service lines
* Experience delivering valuations across multiple jurisdictions (EMEA and globally)
Technical Expertise
* Deep experience across valuation use cases including insurance, asset-based lending, financial reporting, tax, and restructuring
* Exposure to a wide range of sectors such as energy, renewables, infrastructure, manufacturing, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and real estate
* Experience working on valuations ranging from small enterprises to large, complex, multi-billion-dollar portfolios

* Demonstrated success in business development and revenue generation
