Childcare Assistant (Diploma Trained Full Time) -Maternity Leave
Caves Beach Early Learning Centre is a long day-care centre located within the Lake Macquarie region. Caves Beach Early Learning Centre is seeking a full-time Certificate III or Diploma trained educator to work Monday to Friday. We are seeking a candidate that is passionate about children's development and early education. You will be working with children aged 6weeks to 5 years and you will be part of a highly experienced team, who are enthusiastic and genuinely care about children and their development. You are an experienced, progressive educator with a strong understanding and appreciation of a play-based, child-led educational program
Applicants must:
Hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Early education
Take responsibility; be committed and mature
Take initiative and be highly effective in a team setting
Be bubbly, creative, proactive, and energetic
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exhibit a warm and caring nature, with a genuine interest in the welfare and development of children
Be confident and motivated to excel in early education
Have an outstanding work ethic, with high regard for the children, families, and other staff at the service
Have a moderate level of computer literacy
Include at least one reference check
Leadership skills and experience
Current Asthma, anaphylaxis, CPR & First Aid certificates (or willing to obtain)
Full Australian working rights
Current Working with Children Check, National Police Clearance, Medical Clearance (or willing to obtain).
Be able to work between the hours of 7 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday
