The company is seeking a Site Agent to work on their Welsh Water framework, focusing on reactive maintenance of wastewater infrastructure. Responsibilities include managing projects such as wastewater and clean water works, developer services, repairs, maintenance, and sewer connections. The role involves reporting to the Operations Manager, overseeing tasks from replacing manholes to deep excavations across various sites, primarily based in Rhyl, North Wales, with extensive travel involved. Future projects include larger Welsh Water capital investment schemes over the next 18 months. The framework turnover is £12M, with project packages ranging from £100 to £20,000.
The successful candidate will promote high health and safety standards by ensuring Method Statements and Risk Assessments are in place. They will review engineering drawings, identify and resolve design conflicts, and manage Sub Agents, Section Engineers, Site Engineers, and subcontractors.
Requirements
* Foundation Degree level (HND, HNC) in Construction, Civils, Commercial Management, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent.
* Experience working within highways for a tier 1 or tier 2 company as a Quantity Surveyor, demonstrating long-term stability.
* Full UK driver’s license for site visits and travel.
