Role Overview
Vario is a market leading alternative legal services provider within the law firm, Pinsent Masons. It is unique in the legal sector. Vario is a practice group within Pinsent Masons which incorporates; Flexible Services, Consulting and Technology, Legal Project Management and Managed Legal Services (MLS). This role sits within our Consulting & Technology team.
The Consulting and Technology practice incorporates legal technology and Lean Six Sigma expertise providing services:
1. Directly to clients
2. To Vario Managed Legal Services
3. To Pinsent Masons’ legal teams (as an internal client)
We have developed our consultancy model to support our clients’ operational transformation by deploying our technology and process expertise including contract lifecycle management, design thinking, cyber and data expertise and broader legal operations consultancy.
The Lean Six Sigma Analyst is responsible for delivering internal and client-facing continuous improvement activity and supporting a culture of sustainable change. They will lead and facilitate workshops, recommend better ways of working, assess the impact of process/technology change, analyse data using Six Sigma tools and coach Yellow Belts through their certification process.
This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with technology consultants, project managers and MLS service personnel on client engagements to help deliver the 'Process' element of the People, Process and Technology agenda. There will also be opportunities to support clients directly with process improvement engagements separately, and independent, from other Vario or firm wide activities.
Our standard working hours are 9.30am-5.30pm, however, we are happy to consider flexible working requests.
Candidate Overview
We are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience:
4. Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
5. Significant experience of working in legal or professional services
6. Understanding of legal business processes
7. Demonstrable continuous improvement experience including process improvement, project management and business analysis from conceptual design through to implementation and testing
8. Working experience with various project delivery methodologies. DMAIC, Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban, etc.
