We’re a friendly crew of designers, developers, digital marketers, PR specialists, and content creators. Our expanding client list includes well-known international brands, as well as both national and regional businesses.
The role
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic PR professional to join our growing team. We’re looking for someone with proven experience in digital PR and media relations and a strong track record of building and maintaining journalist relationships. You’ll be well-versed in all strands of PR activity, including preparing articles and press releases for the media, as well as identifying and securing comment opportunities to achieve coverage in line with our clients’ objectives. You must be organised, confident, and passionate about keeping a constant eye on relevant news stories, opportunities, and ever-changing needs of journalists you liaise with. You’ll play a key role in growing and protecting our clients’ brands in the media, and work closely with other departments in the business, including design, digital marketing, and content marketing, to deliver wider integrated communications strategies. The role requires exceptional copywriting skills, a passion to establish and develop relationships with national, regional, and trade press contacts, and the ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously. You should also have a strong understanding of media relations, and the confidence to discuss your ideas and rationale.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be:
* Working directly with clients to understand their objectives
* Liaising with internal departments to achieve clients’ goals
* Pitching to journalists/publications for opportunities
* Copywriting for secured opportunities
* Monitoring ResponseSource and news for proactive comment opportunities and following up
* Attending internal and client meetings
Skills and experience required:
* Minimum three years’ PR experience
* Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a strong news sense to craft impactful narratives
* Great networking skills and solid knowledge of UK national, regional, online, and trade media
* The ability to act on initiative, work under pressure, and exercise judgment
* Confidence to discuss ideas and rationale
* A proactive mindset
* Ability to meet tight deadlines and work as part of a team

* Enthusiasm for ideating PR strategies for clients
* Knowledge of wider communication channels (social media, digital)
* Experience with news monitoring software to review and analyze coverage and PR successes
* Confidence to present ideas to clients
