Job Responsibilities
1. Provide personal care assistance to patients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
2. Monitor patients’ health and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
3. Assist with mobility, positioning, and transfers of patients.
4. Help patients with daily activities, including eating, drinking, and engaging in therapeutic activities.
5. Provide emotional and social support to patients, offering a friendly and reassuring presence.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on patient care.
7. Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to health and safety regulations.
8. Work collaboratively with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare staff to deliver excellent patient care.
9. Assist in delivering care for patients with specific needs (e.g., elderly, disabled, or those with chronic illnesses).
10. Support the delivery of medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
Essential Skills
* Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant or in a similar role is preferred, but not essential.
* A caring and empathetic nature with a genuine passion for helping others.
* Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
* Good communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
* Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures in a healthcare environment.
* A flexible and positive attitude, with the ability to adapt to changing needs.
