Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled High-Speed Analog Design Engineer to join our advanced mixed-signal quality assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing the end-to-end design, development, and productization of high-speed analog IP, such as high-speed DACs, ADCs, or SerDes. You will work closely with the analog team, system team, digital engineers, HW engineers and validation engineers from architecture and feasibility studies, through circuit design and simulation, silicon validation, and production release ensuring the IP meets stringent signal integrity, jitter, and power requirements. Requirements Proven track record in developing high-speed analog IP, with successful delivery of at least one of the following: High-Speed DAC (Digital-to-Analog Converter) High-Speed ADC (Analog-to-Digital Converter) High-Speed SerDes (Serializer/Deserializer) Hands-on experience from architecture and concept definition to design, validation, and production release Strong knowledge of high-speed analog circuit techniques, including clocking, equalization, and jitter reduction Expertise in transistor-level design using industry-standard EDA tools (Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor, etc.) Deep understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, and noise coupling in high-speed designs Familiarity with mixed-signal simulation flows, modeling, and verification methodologies Experience in lab bring-up and silicon validation of high-speed IP using oscilloscopes, BERTs, spectrum analyzers, and similar equipment Knowledge of advanced CMOS or FinFET process technologies – an advantage Experience with statistical analysis, yield optimization, and DFM (Design for Manufacturability) for high-speed designs Understanding of relevant communication protocols (e.g., PCIe, JESD204) Strong problem-solving, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills Equal Opportunity Statement MDA Space is proud to provide accommodation(s) during the recruitment process.
