Catastrophic Injury Solicitor – Associate / Senior Associate UK-Wide | Fully Remote or Hybrid | 1 PQE | Up to £60,000 Full Benefits Permanent Role | Flexible Hours | Innovative Working Model High quality catastrophic injury work — without sacrificing flexibility A leading national, Legal 500-ranked practice is launching a progressive flexible working programme for ambitious catastrophic injury solicitors. This is a permanent Associate / Senior Associate position designed for lawyers who want exposure to high-value, complex injury litigation — but with genuine control over how and where they work. You’ll work across specialist catastrophic injury units, gaining varied experience while maintaining career security and progression. Nature of the caseload You will handle or assist on complex, high-value claims, including: Traumatic brain injuries Spinal cord injuries Amputations Fatal accident claims You may also: Undertake internal secondments across different catastrophic injury teams Support strategic client projects Provide cover during parental leave or long-term absences Work closely with Partners and senior litigators across the UK This model offers breadth of experience rarely available within a single team. Ideal candidate experience Qualified Solicitor with 1 years’ PQE Experience in serious or catastrophic injury litigation (claimant or defendant backgrounds welcome) Strong drafting and analytical skills Exposure to high-value claims (£500,000) preferred Adaptable, collaborative and confident working across varied teams This role would suit a solicitor seeking flexibility without stepping away from high-calibre work — or someone looking to broaden their catastrophic injury experience within a supportive national structure.
