Lead Clinician – Psychotherapist (Full time, 22.5 hrs per week, 3 days a week)

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 FTE, DOE

The role
Manage the in‑house Clinical Team at The Shires – Oakham, working collaboratively with the school’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Regional Clinical Lead. The postholder will clinically lead the team, hold a therapy caseload, deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for students with complex profiles of autism, neurodivergence, developmental trauma and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, and meet the needs of EHCP plans. The role includes line‑management of the onsite clinical team and leading on service development of the clinical school‑based service.
Essential Criteria
* Degree qualification in a relevant discipline.
* Leadership and management experience – at least 5 years in a clinical discipline.
* Valid professional registration and membership of a relevant body (e.g. BPS).
* Experience working with autistic individuals and/or those with complex needs.
* Clear, concise clinical and research report writing.
* Experience providing supervision and supporting a therapy team.
* Ability to work independently and dynamically within a growing clinical service.
* Experience of multi‑professional collaboration within the specified specialty (preferred).
* Full UK valid driving licence and access to own vehicle.
