About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and organised Events Officer to help plan, deliver and evaluate a wide range of high‑quality events, both virtual and in person. The events we deliver range from online or in‑person forums, conferences, policy launches and webinars to workshops and exhibitions, all of which play a vital role in representing our organisation and supporting workforce development, best practice and future thought leadership across the adult social care sector.
You’ll work closely with colleagues and external partners to ensure each event is strategically aligned, tailored to its audience, and run to a high standard. From event scoping and project planning through to promotion, ticket sales, delivery and evaluation, you’ll bring strong attention to detail, a customer‑facing and collaborative approach, and a commitment to providing excellent experiences for delegates and partners alike.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, coordinate and execute a diverse portfolio of events, ensuring they meet strategic objectives and quality standards.
• Manage multiple simultaneous projects, maintaining clear timelines and stakeholder communication.
• Promote events through appropriate channels, manage ticketing, and oversee post‑event evaluation to capture insights and successes.
Qualifications & Experience
• Proven track record in event planning, delivery and evaluation.
• Highly organised, capable of managing multiple projects at once.
• Comfortable with digital platforms such as Zoom, Teams, and CRM systems.
• Strong relationship‑building skills and experience working in a fast‑paced environment.
