Who we are looking for:
We are currently looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator who will take on a broad role. This person will be responsible for full project support, which includes Customer Service assistance in processing orders as well as Supply Chain support in managing and tracking the progress of orders. This person will serve as the link between the project and various departments within our organization.
As the single point of contact in this specific project, this Supply Chain Coordinator will manage customer interactions, and all administrative tasks needed.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication. They should be accustomed to working with SAP and/or Salesforce, be accurate and flexible and have solid experience in a similar role within the industrial sector. Experience in lean manufacturing or working in a business system-based company is a plus.
What you’ll do:
* Process and follow up on the project and orders in the ERP System (SAP)
* Answer questions via phone, chat or email regarding product availability, delivery situation and interact with end customer on forecasting
* Collaborate with the local Sales team and/or local contact dedicated to the project to ensure smooth order processing (EDI orders, email, Portal, Salesforce)
* Become the “Go To” person for the end customer to coordinate all activities between end customer and internal stakeholders
* Communicate with project contacts and internal departments regarding volume requests, delivery time etc.
* Request transportation and resolve any delivery issues
* Follow up on Customer Portal requests
* Process and follow up on express shipments, complaints and returns
* Follow up on required documents and certificates for export customers
What you’ll bring:
* Solid experience in a similar role within the industrial sector
* Strong knowledge of MS Office, SAP and/or Salesforce
* Knowledge of customs legislation and export procedures is a bonus
* Accuracy and custom-oriented work are important to you

Within 3 months, you’ll:
* Complete your Atkore immersion program.

Within 6 months, you’ll:
* Manage, input and follow-up orders for your customer project
* Handle and follow up complaints, returns and special requests
* Collaborate with your sales colleague to empower cross functional sales.
* Identify ways to strengthen customer relationships in alignment with Atkore’s core values: Accountability, Teamwork, Integrity, Respect and Excellence.
Within 12 months, you’ll:
* Manage an efficient client portfolio that supports Atkore’s strategy.
* Engage in meaningful, solution-orientated conversations with clients, keeping all brands in mind.
