We are looking for passionate and qualified individuals to deliver First Aid at Work and other courses across workplace and community settings in the North West Area, particularly Derry/Londonderry.

Essential Criteria
Qualifications
Applicants must:
* Hold a nationally recognised Training and Assessing qualification (e.g. Level 3 Award in Education and Training or equivalent).
* Hold a valid First Aid at Work certificate OR registration with GMC, NMC, or HCPC
Experience
* Minimum of 1 year of experience delivering structured training (preferably to adults).
Desirable Criteria
* Minimum 1 year of First Aid training delivery
Requirements of the Post
* Be flexible and willing to travel throughout Northern Ireland to deliver training at various venues. Please note that this post will be specifically required to cover courses within the North West area, particularly Derry/ Londonderry.
* Availability during weekdays (9:00AM – 4:30PM) is essential, with occasional evening and weekend sessions. While scheduling is flexible, candidates must commit to a reasonable number of weekday sessions.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Deliver and assess first aid training to a high standard, ensuring consistency with St John Ambulance (NI) guidelines
* Adapt training for diverse audiences and implement reasonable adjustments
* Maintain CPD and adhere to quality assurance standards, including annual IQA observations
* Ensure equipment is clean, functional, and properly stored
* Submit course documentation accurately and promptly
* Promote St John Ambulance (NI) services and contribute positively to the training team
* Comply with all organisational policies, including health and safety
* Support pilot training initiatives as required

Pay: £23.61 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 18 per week
