We're seeking a Junior Electrical Design Engineer – Building Services to join our expanding Mechanical & Electrical division. This hands-on role offers the chance to gain end-to-end project exposure—from feasibility and design to site surveys and contract support. You'll contribute to electrical designs across industrial and infrastructure sectors, working with state-of-the-art software such as ETAP, Trimble, and DIALux. Key Responsibilities * Assist in design of electrical systems for major infrastructure projects * Prepare design calculations, feasibility reports, and technical documentation * Support contract administration and participate in site surveys * Work on electrical design components including LV/HV systems, lighting, earthing, and more * Collaborate with senior engineers to develop efficient, sustainable design solutions Experience: * A certified electrician (e.g. City & Guilds 2396) or relevant degree * A strong understanding of electrical design principles; practical experience is a plus * Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively * Knowledge of electrical theory including HV/LV systems, lighting, and earthing * Experience with engineering software such as ETAP, DIALux, and Trimble * A passion for learning and advancing in the field of electrical engineering Bluestream Recruitment is an Equal Opportunities Employer and operates as an Employment Agency for permanent recruitment and an as an Employment Business for temporary / contract recruitment
