We are seeking a Fresh Food Manager to support our store operations by delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring product availability.
Responsibilities
* Lead and empower colleagues to put the customer first and deliver outstanding customer service
* Listen to and respond to customer feedback and react accordingly
* Ensure market‑leading availability across the store
* Collaborate with other store managers to lead a supportive and performance‑driven department
* Manage people routines, scheduling, absence, performance, and talent conversations
* Deliver training to ensure team capability and confidence
* Enable colleagues to work confidently across various departments
* Identify and develop talent within the department
* Build effective relationships with other operating departments
* Lead colleagues towards outstanding performance against all relevant targets
* Take a leadership role within the store
* Ensure resources are planned thoroughly
Qualifications
* Experience managing a team in a fast‑paced environment
* Excellent communication skills with ability to share knowledge, experience and best practices
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across all areas while remaining flexible
* Adaptable to change and able to challenge effectively
* Ability to actively listen to and respond effectively to customers and colleagues
