The Role
This is a varied and rewarding community-based role, where you’ll spend your time out and about meeting participants, employers and partners across the region. It’s a mobile position, so you’ll need to be comfortable travelling daily and working in different environments such as community settings, health services and workplaces.
In this role, you will:
* Support a caseload of individuals on their journey into employment
* Get to know each person’s strengths, aspirations and barriers to work
* Create tailored action plans and vocational profiles
* Provide practical support including CV writing, job searching and interview coaching
* Deliver ongoing support once participants are in work to help them sustain employment
* Develop relationships with local employers to source suitable job opportunities
* Encourage inclusive hiring practices and support workplace adjustments
* Work collaboratively with health professionals, local authorities and community organisations
* Accurately record progress and outcomes

Ideal Candidate

You’ll bring:
* Experience supporting individuals, customers or clients within a caseload setting
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Confidence engaging with employers and external stakeholders
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
* The ability to work independently while being part of a wider team
* Good IT knowledge across Microsoft Office and Teams
* A genuine belief in helping people unlock their potential
No clinical experience is required, full training in a proven employment support model will be provided.
