Overview
Veterinary Surgeon - No OOH and salary up to £60,000, depending on experience, plus benefits, based in Severn Edge Vets, Cleobury Mortimer.
Are you an experienced Vet with a passion for supporting the development of clinical teams?
Working pattern
No OOH. We are flexible with a 4-day working week and 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, with flexibility on weekly hours. The position is based in our Cleobury Mortimer practice.
Salary and support
We are offering a salary of up to £60,000 FTE, dedicated admin time every day, 15-minute consults, great support staff and a large range of in-house certificate holders and expertise.
Why us
This is one of nine sites, including our 24-hour Bridgnorth Hospital. Within our hub of four practices we have a vet with a PGcert in small animal diagnostic imaging. We are a busy, proactive group with broad expertise and facilities. You will be supported by admin teams across Severn Edge, and by receptionists, patient care assistants and nurses in branch locations.
We enjoy providing the best care and continuous learning. We recently had in-house CPD on dentistry from a practice certificate holder and an anaesthesia talk from Willows. These are extras on top of our vets’ normal CPD allowance, as we champion learning and knowledge sharing.
Our practice is close to the Wyre Forest District in Worcestershire with access to the Shropshire countryside, walks, canoeing, and is about 33 miles from Birmingham.
Our rota supports work-life balance with a 4-day week plus 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, but no OOH. Tell us what works for you and we will do our best to accommodate.
Benefits and apply
The successful Veterinary Surgeon will have access to support from Vet Oracle, a range of digital teleservices led by veterinary specialists and referral clinicians who provide interpretations and clinical advice in medicine, radiology, cardiology, dermatology, oncology, neurology, ophthalmology and dentistry.
* Holidays, pensions, discounts, parental leave, fee payments…plus more viewable on the what-we-offer page.
