Job Description
justteachers are seeking a committed and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming Primary School in the Hinckley area. This supportive school is dedicated to providing a nurturing learning environment where pupils are encouraged to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
As a HLTA, you will lead small group interventions, support whole-class learning, and deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong behaviour management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to inspire and engage pupils across Key Stages 1 and 2.
Key Requirements
The school is looking for a proactive HLTA who can support pupils effectively and work collaboratively with teaching staff. To apply, you will need:
* HLTA status or significant school-based experience at an advanced TA level
* Strong understanding of the primary curriculum
* The ability to deliver pre-planned lessons confidently
* Two professional references covering the last two years
* Right to work in the UK
* A clear enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
