Job Title: Class 1 HGV Driver (Days) - Temp to Perm Location: Heywood OL10 Salary: Competitive Job Type: Full-Time | Temp to Perm We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional Class 1 (CE) Driver to join our clients growing team. This is a day role with flexible shift patterns available to suit your lifestyle. Shift Patterns Available: * Monday to Friday or * 4 on / 4 off The Role: * Driving Class 1 vehicles for scheduled deliveries and collections * Completing vehicle checks and ensuring roadworthiness * Ensuring all deliveries are loaded and secured while completing them safely and on time * Maintaining accurate paperwork and adhering to transport regulations * Providing professional and courteous service to customers while delivering * Double check deliveries with the customer whilst providing a polite and helpful experience. * Obtain relevant signatures and paperwork before returning the your home depot Requirements: * Valid Class 1 (CE) licence * Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card * Minimum 1 year driving experience * Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and working time regulations * Strong work ethic and reliable attendance * Ability to be able to lift up to 18kg What We Offer: * Competitive hourly rates / salary * Regular day shifts * Overtime opportunities * Company pension scheme * Free On-site parking * Supportive team environment * Support for your emotional well-being with access to a 24/7 employee assistance phone line offering confidential free counselling and advice.
