Your new role
This role is responsible for establishing, leading and continuously improving the Service Operations function that underpins all technology services across the organisation. It ensures that Divisional and Corporate operational needs are met while creating consistent, scalable service processes across multiple business platforms. By defining and delivering the overall service operations strategy, this role will enable the organisation to achieve its wider business and technology objectives. The position will focus on building a robust service management capability, supporting business performance and driving ongoing improvements across all IT platforms.
What you'll need to succeed
Service Operations Leadership
1. Establish and maintain a cohesive Service Operations function that supports all business technology services.
2. Define the service operations strategy and ensure alignment with wider organisational goals.
3. Create and embedmon service processes, standards and frameworks across all platforms and divisions.
Resource & Vendor Management
4. Apply a hybrid resourcing model, utilising a mix of employed, near‑shore and off‑shore teams to deliver efficient, fit for purpose services.
5. Lead service operations teams across each functional area.
6. Manage external service integrators and service providers to ensure effective, high-quality service delivery.
Programme & Service Improvement
7. Oversee a portfolio of service focused programmes and projects to support business operations.
8. Drive continuous service improvement across all IT platforms and processes.
9. Ensure robust monitoring, reporting andernance of service performance.
