A major global broadcast product manufacturer has a permanent job vacancy available for a Broadcast Support Engineer to join their team based in the South East, UK.
As Broadcast Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical and operational advice, guidance and support to a worldwide customer base across their range of media products. You'll ensure all issues are logged and tracked correctly or escalated where necessary, acting as an interface between the client and development engineers as you see the issue through to resolution.
To be successful in this role, candidates will bring a background in broadcast engineering ideally with knowledge of broadcast production, playout or MCR environments. Any additional knowledge of IP networking or cloud based technologies would be highly beneficial.
Due to the customer-facing nature of this role, you will also be a pro-active and confident communicator who has the ability to work both collaboratively and individually whilst maintaining a high level of customer support.
