Role Title: HCM Senior System Analyst (Fixed Term Contract) Locations: Hybrid working with one of the following locations as your primary site: Derby, Manchester or Warrington We anticipate paying a salary between £48,000 to £64,200 This role is offered on a 10-month Fixed Term Contract to support a defined period of increased demand following Workday HCM implementation and ongoing optimisation. During the contract period, the Senior HCM (Workday) Analyst will be expected to: Provide stable, high-quality HCM service support during a period of system bedding-in and operational maturity. Support the transition to and effective operation of the AMS model, ensuring issues, enhancements and configuration changes are clearly specified and efficiently resolved. Deliver targeted enhancements and project activity across Workday Learning, Talent Management and Advanced Compensation, in line with agreed priorities. Lead or support Workday testing activity associated with enhancements, releases and change initiatives, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Support knowledge transfer, documentation and process clarity, helping to embed sustainable ways of working beyond the end of the contract. The role is outcome-focused and requires an individual who can add value quickly, operate with a high degree of autonomy, and work effectively across HR, Reward, People Operations and third-party partners. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong functional Workday expertise who enjoys problem-solving, working closely with stakeholders, and delivering high-quality system outcomes in a fast-moving environment. What you’ll be doing: Providing day-to-day HCM service support for Workday. Preparing and managing cases with our AMS partner, ensuring timely and effective resolution. Delivering configuration and enhancement activity across Learning Management, Talent Management and Advanced Compensation. Leading and executing testing activities, including test script creation and UAT support. Working closely with HR and Reward teams to ensure Workday solutions meet real user needs. What we’re looking for: Strong functional experience with Workday HCM. Proven experience supporting or delivering Learning, Talent and/or Advanced Compensation modules. High proficiency in Workday configuration and testing. Experience working with an AMS support model. A customer-focused mindset with excellent communication skills.
