We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Weymouth. You will be responsible for supporting classroom teachers in providing the best support possible to students with various Special Educational Needs.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, ADD, SEMH
* Assist teachers in delivering inclusive and engaging lessons, adapting materials to meet individual learning needs
* Support pupils’ emotional well-being and behaviour management
* Foster independence and confidence by encouraging life skills and social interaction
* Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to ensure the best pupil support possible

Requirements
* Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN in or out of an educational setting
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Patience, empathy, and adaptability to meet diverse needs
* Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
