We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing and engineering business in Melksham, looking for a Graduate Tooling and Sustaining Engineer to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career engineer looking to build hands-on experience in tooling design, manufacturing processes, and product development. You'll be working closely with a Lead Tooling Engineer and cross-functional teams to support both new and existing tooling used in high-performance production environments. What You'll Be Doing: Support the design and development of mould tooling and related equipment Assist with the maintenance and improvement of legacy tools and processes Work with experienced engineers to assess tooling performance and identify improvements Help prepare technical documentation, specifications, and reports Participate in problem-solving, engineering change processes, and process audits Contribute to capital project planning and learn how to manage tooling suppliers Get involved in the transfer of new products into production and support hands-on training with manufacturing teamsWho We're Looking For: Essential: A degree, HNC, or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Manufacturing, or Polymer Technology A keen interest in tooling, materials, and manufacturing processes Good problem-solving and communication skills Competence in a 3D CAD system A proactive, hands-on mindset and willingness to learn Experience with SolidWorks, FEA/CAE, or manufacturing projects Familiarity with materials including plastics/rubberWhat You'll Get: Competitive starting salary from £27,000 (DOE) 25 days holiday bank holidays Quarterly bonus scheme Health plan Supportive team and excellent development opportunities
