We are on the search for a Stock Coordinator who will support our workshop with diamond replacements by sourcing stones along with metal and parts allocation for jewellers. You will also manage both stock and cost control and ultimately improving service times and competitive pricing for all our customers.
If you have experience within the jewellery industry and have a diamond diploma or JET 1 or JET 2 Qualification, we would like to hear from you!
About the role
1. To provide an efficient diamond replacement service to customers by accurately measuring, grading and ordering diamonds.
2. Assist jewellers with metal and parts allocation and keeping controls on metal usage.
3. To liaise and effectively communicate with jobbers and administrators regarding the allocation of diamonds
4. To liaise and effectively communicate with internal and 3rd party suppliers regarding diamond requirements
5. Use of department systems to access and update information.
6. Responsible for stock control and audits for all diamonds and metal ordered.
7. Quality Control all stones ordered so they match criteria of colour, cut, clarity and carat weight.
8. Ensure all stones ordered or sourced adhere to our Conflict Diamond statement.
