Teaching Assistant
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team from January 2026. This role involves supporting pupils across all ages and a wide range of needs, working closely with teaching staff to provide an inclusive, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting pupils individually and in small groups across different age ranges
* Assisting teachers with classroom activities and lesson preparation
* Supporting pupils with additional, behavioural, and learning needs
* Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
* Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive setting
About the Role:
* Start date: January 2026
* Hours: Full-time (job share considered)
* A walk-around of the setting can be arranged prior to appointment
The Ideal Candidate:
* Patient, adaptable, and compassionate
* Comfortable working with pupils of varying ages and abilities
* Able to work well as part of a team
* Experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
