We are currently working with an established and highly regarded main contractor who is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team.
This role will suit a construction professional with a proven track record delivering and -- schemes across London and the South East.
The successful candidate will initially be based on a live project in Sussex involving the delivery of a. office-to-residential conversion scheme. Due to the location of current and future projects, candidates must ideally live within or around the / .
The successful candidate will take full responsibility for managing projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover, ensuring programme, quality, commercial and health & safety objectives are achieved throughout.

β’ Managing permitted development and office-to-residential conversion schemes
β’ Overseeing projects from inception through to final handover
β’ Coordinating subcontractors, consultants and site teams
β’ Managing programme delivery, quality and health & safety compliance
β’ Chairing progress meetings and maintaining strong client relationships
β’ Resolving technical and operational challenges throughout the build process
β’ Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget

β’ Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry
β’ Strong background delivering permitted development projects
β’ Office-to-residential conversion experience is essential
β’ Experience delivering projects of approximately 50 units or similar scale
β’ Must live within or around the M25/M23 corridor
β’ Strong communication and organisational skills
β’ Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to project delivery
β’ Stable career history with reputable contractors preferred
