Behind the scenes, our state-of-the-art equipment includes the largest compression moulding presses in the UK, robotic cells, 5-axis CNC machines, conveyorized paint lines and advanced assembly fixtures. As a Spray Painter,you will be responsible for the safe spraying of parts for production. Duties: Production & Technical Carry out the full warm-up and preparation routine for all spray-painting equipment. Mix paints to the correct ratios and specifications following defined procedures. Set up and operate spray-painting machinery, manual spray equipment, and associated processes. Perform manual painting when required to maintain quality standards or support production demand. Select, load, and verify the correct machine programs for each product. Complete all required machine and process data records accurately. Conduct and document quality checks at each stage of the painting process. Report any machine faults, defects, or downtime risks to Maintenance promptly. Quality & Compliance Work closely with Quality Engineers and Inspectors to ensure all products meet specification. Maintain full compliance with all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and safe-system-of-work practices. Ensure excellent housekeeping and cleanliness standards in and around the spray booth and work area. Communication & Collaboration Liaise with the Business Unit Manager, Supervisors, and other key personnel to confirm product requirements, programs, tooling, and fixture needs. Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, safety, and operational efficiency. General Duties Assist with additional production tasks as required. Perform any other duties necessary for the effective running of the Spray-Painting area. Requirements: - Previous experience in industrial spray painting or a similar manufacturing role. - Knowledge of paint mixing, surface finishing, or automated spray systems (desirable). - Strong attention to detail and quality. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Good communication and problem-solving skills. - Commitment to safe working practices.
