About the company: Established since the 1970s, manufacturing precision components for automotive, scientific, nuclear and food industries.
Role overview: Inspect precision components throughout the manufacturing process, interpret technical drawings, use handheld measuring equipment and coordinate a CMM measuring machine.
Responsibilities
* Inspect manufactured products from beginning to end.
* Operate a manual CMM machine.
* Follow the 38‑hour working week Monday to Thursday, with Friday off.
Requirements
* Experience as an inspector in manufacturing or precision engineering.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings of products before manufacture.
* Commute to Chorley.
