The Opportunity An established and growing multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is expanding its BIM capability in Scotland and is looking to appoint experienced Revit Technicians to support the delivery of technically demanding building services projects across regulated and specialist sectors.
This role would suit candidates working in these roles Revit MEP Technician, BIM Technician, Building Services CAD Technician, MEP CAD Engineer, BIM Modeller, Mechanical Revit Technician, Building Services Technician, MEP BIM Coordinator.
Your duties and responsibilities will be
* Produce accurate, fully coordinated 2D and 3D building services drawings and models using Revit and AutoCAD
* Develop detailed MEP models covering HVAC and public health systems in line with project and BIM standards
* Work closely with engineers and fellow technicians to ensure designs are practical, compliant and buildable
* Follow BIM Execution Plans and maintain high-quality project documentation throughout delivery
* Manage workloads effectively to meet programme deadlines across multiple live projects
You will have the following qualifications and experience
* Around 3–4 years’ experience working within a Building Services or MEP design environment
* Strong, demonstrable capability in Revit MEP and AutoCAD, including model coordination
* Practical working knowledge of MagiCAD and Navisworks within a BIM workflow
* A solid understanding of mechanical building services systems and installation requirements
* Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
This role is based from a modern office in Motherwell, with hybrid working available (a minimum of two days per week in the office). The salary on offer is dependant on experience, with opportunities to develop within a growing BIM team. Please note, visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
