We’re looking for a skilled Business Analyst with hands-on experience in the MRI (Capita) One system to join our Education Services support team. This role offers the chance to work at the heart of local authority education services, ensuring vital areas such as SEND, Early Years, Education Welfare, Educational Psychology, and School Transport run smoothly and effectively through smarter use of technology. What You’ll Be Doing Analysing education service processes and spotting opportunities for improvement. Leading system developments and rolling out new functionalities in MRI (Capita) One. Collaborating with stakeholders to design and enhance MRI (Capita) One portals and forms. Managing projects end-to-end – from requirements gathering through to testing and implementation. Training and supporting colleagues, ensuring changes are well adopted and embedded. Driving change management, making transitions smooth and successful. Acting as a mentor and knowledge sharer within the team. Troubleshooting and ensuring the system runs at its best, working with IT teams and vendors.What We’re Looking For Proven experience as a Business Analyst within local authority education services. Strong knowledge of SEND, Early Years, Education Welfare, Educational Psychology, and School Transport processes. Deep expertise in configuring and supporting MRI (Capita) One, including developments and enhancements. Experience with MRI (Capita) One portals, especially portal and forms development. Technical skills such as SQL and reporting tools. Strong project management and stakeholder engagement experience. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
