This role ensures that all aspects of a logistics department are coordinated to meet customer demands effectively and efficiently.
Responsibilities include:
1. Planning and monitoring inbound and outbound shipments.
2. Coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and transport companies.
3. Negotiating and securing transportation rates.
4. Ensuring warehouse, transportation, and customer services work in unity and meet their commitments.
5. Tracking and resolving any shipping errors.
6. Preparing and maintaining detailed logistics documentation and reporting to the Head of Supply Chain.
7. Implementing new projects and strategies to improve logistical efficiency.
8. Complying with all company, local, and government transportation regulations.
Candidate Profile:
* Minimum GCSE English and Mathematics A-C.
* Experience in logistics, warehousing, or transportation operations.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Ability to prioritize work and take ownership of tasks.
* Strong organizational and analytical skills.
* Willingness to learn and train others.
* Effective teamwork and communication skills.
