Theteam consists of; 5 GP Partners, 2x Salaried GP, 1 Managing Partner, 2x ANPs, 1x ClinicalPharmacist, 1x Pharmacy Technician, 3x Practice Nurses, 2x HCAs. The team issupported by a hardworkingadministration team. We are an accredited training practice GP training, FY2and medical students on placement.
We arepaperless utilising EMIS Web, Docman, Accurx, lab links, Lexacom and ElectronicPrescribing and are high achievers in both national and local performanceframeworks and enhanced services. We have a fully digitised Lloyd Georgerecords and workflow redirection.
Main duties of the job
To perform as an autonomous general practitioner workingindependently and with other health care professionals to assess, diagnose andtreat the conditions of patients attending within a primary care setting.Provide expert professional advice to patients, carers and colleagues andensure the maintenance of clinical excellence. To be involved in the provisionof education and training to GP Registrars and other staff. To beprofessionally accountable and responsible for all elements of clinical practicein accordance with the GMC code of conduct ensuring the safety of patients andquality of their care is primary.

Job responsibilities
The following are the core responsibilities of the salaried GP. There may be on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels:
* a. The delivery of highly effective medical care to the entitled population
* b. The provision of services commensurate with the GMS contract
* c. Generic prescribing adhering to local and national guidance
* d. Effective management of long-term conditions
* e. Processing of administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescription requests and other associated administrative tasks
* f. On a rotational basis, undertake duty doctor roles
* g. Completing non-NHS reports as required
* h. Offer and carry out consultations and, where appropriate, physical examinations for the purpose of identifying and reducing the risk of illness, disease or injury. Within the practice, over the telephone, video consultations, electronic consultations, in patients homes and within the nursing and residential homes supported by the practice.
* i. Maintain accurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy and guidance
* j. Working collaboratively, accepting an equal share of the practice workload
* k. Adhere to best practice recommended through clinical guidelines and the audit process
* l. Contribute to the successful implementation of continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the practice
* m. Accept delegated responsibility for a specific area (or areas) or the QOF/IIF
* n. Attend and contribute effectively to practice meetings as required
* o. Contribute effective to the development and maintenance of the practice including; clinical governance, training, financial management and HR
* p. Ensure compliance with the appraisal process
* q. Prepare and complete the revalidation process
* r. Provide cover for the GP extended hours clinic and duty doctor rota (pro rata).
* s. Commit to self-learning and instil an ethos of continuing professional development across the practice team
* t. Support the training of medical students/GP Trainees from all clinical disciplines
* u. Support the partners in achieving the strategic aims of the practice, making recommendations to enhance income and reduce expenditure
* v. Review and adhere to practice protocols and policies at all times
