We are seeking a motivated and technically astute Technical Sales Engineer to work within the Sales team. As a team the responsibilities are: • Identifying and engaging with potential clients • Understanding client needs and providing tailored solutions • Overseeing projects from initial inquiry to completion, ensuring high customer satisfaction • Collaborating with internal teams (e.g. engineering, production) to align solutions with technical and commercial capabilities • Producing estimates/quotations • Account management • Customer compliance management • Export control management • Post sales liaisons • Maintaining accurate sales forecasts • Managing and attending exhibitions • Visiting client sites The ideal candidate would have: • Experience in a technical sales role within an engineering environment. • An engineering background, ideally educated in engineering or science. • Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. • A confident sales approach, able to identify needs and propose effective solutions. • Confident IT skills (MS products, CRM software)
