Role Overview
The Sureserve Group of businesses provides market‑leading compliance and energy services across the UK. This role involves following up heating installations and completing tasks such as boxing pipework, tiling, ceiling repairs, making good & painting, assisting vertical flues, installing boilers and ASHPs, building timber boxing, constructing new cupboards, attending calls, recording logs, liaising with the Area Manager, and working flexibly outside normal hours.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with the installation of new boilers where required.
* Help complete vertical flues, adding bracing into the loft and weathering the lead slate into the roof.
* Build timber boxing under boilers where required.
* Assist with the ASHP installations, building concrete bases, lifting floorboards, and constructing new cupboards.
* Attend all calls allocated to you and report delays to call handlers.
* Record accurate logs of work undertaken and materials used in the company’s PDA/IT system.
* Liaise with the Area Manager/admin teams and inform residents of completion timescale when further work is required.
* Work flexibly, including outside normal working hours.
* Carry out daily tasks in a helpful and professional approach prioritising customer service.
* Keep the allocated company vehicle clean and tidy, disposing of waste to company/HSE regulations.
* Self‑manage workload day‑to‑day, being responsible for the works carried out.
Qualifications
Must be working towards or have a City & Guilds multi‑trade/building qualification, or demonstrate relevant experience.
