We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join our team as a Liquidity Risk Manager.
In this role, you will:
1. Develop and execute a comprehensive liquidity second line of defence program, working closely with Global Treasury to measure, monitor, and manage liquidity and key liquidity metrics.
2. Provide independent review and challenge of liquidity processes, Recovery and Resolution Planning, regulatory reporting, and liquidity programs.
3. Review liquidity risk management policies, limits, standards, controls, metrics, and thresholds to ensure they align with corporate standards approved by the Board and ALCO.
4. Review Front Line Units and the Enterprise’s governance processes to ensure Liquidity Risk is managed according to the firm’s Risk Appetite and that proper risk frameworks are deployed.
5. Collaborate with Finance, Risk, and Markets Treasury to support activities, ensure consistency in frameworks and methodologies, and improve liquidity management analysis in external reporting.
6. Build relationships with stakeholders across Risk, Group Treasury, ALCM, Markets Treasury, and front-line businesses.
To be successful, you should meet the following requirements:
* Knowledge of liquidity risk management within a large international financial institution.
* Understanding of funding gaps and the importance of liquidity management.
* Good working knowledge of Liquidity Regulations and reporting requirements.
* Experience working across organizational levels to understand cross-functional linkages and risk implications at strategic and business unit levels.
* Good knowledge of vanilla and complex derivative markets products, traded markets, and cross-market funding and asset transformation.
* Experience in addressing regulatory and audit requests.
