Client Manager Regional Accountancy Practice (Leeds)
Are you an experienced accountant looking to take the next step in your career? Our client, a well-established and growing regional accountancy practice in Leeds, is seeking a Client Manager to join their friendly and professional team.
The Role:
As a Client Manager, you will take responsibility for managing a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of sectors. Youll be the main point of contact for your clients, providing a proactive and professional service while ensuring all compliance and advisory needs are met.
Your key duties as Client Manager will include:
* Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely delivery of accounts and tax work
* Reviewing statutory accounts, management accounts, and corporate/personal tax returns
* Overseeing and supporting a small team of accountants and trainees
* Liaising directly with clients to provide advice and build strong working relationships
* Ensuring technical quality and compliance with accounting and tax standards
* Supporting partners with practice development and business growth initiatives
About You:
* ACCA or ACA qualified (or equivalent)
* Experience working in a firm of accountants is essential, ideally as a Client Accountant or Client Manager
* Strong technical skills in accounts preparation and tax compliance
* Confident in managing client relationships and delivering excellent service
* Comfortable supervising and mentoring junior team members
* Ideally knowledge of Xero
