A leading supplier and manufacturer of abrasive shot blasting equipment medias and other surface preparation and finishing equipment, based in Flintshire, is now seeking to expand their team with an experienced Mechanically biased Service Engineer. This role is ideal if you have experience in the following areas:
* Install Engineer
* Machine Maintenance
* Plant Fitter
* Mechanical Engineer
The Field Service Engineer role offers an interesting and varied work life with main duties including:
* Attending customer sites to install, commission, service, and repair a range of blasting equipment.
* Providing detailed and accurate reports on the condition of customer equipment following onsite examinations.
* Investigating and identifying machine problems during emergency breakdowns, both mechanically and electrically.
* Recommending productivity or efficiency improvements to customers based on onsite assessments.
Essential Field Service Engineer Requirements
* Full Driving License
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good communication skills, both customer-facing and with internal/external staff
* Flexible approach to working hours, including some weekends, unsociable hours, and overnight stays
The average working week is 45 to 55 hours, occasionally up to 70 hours. Overseas work in Ireland may be required. Current team earnings average between £45k and £60k per annum.

* Contracted hours are 40 hours/week, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
* 22 days holiday plus bank holidays
* Out-of-hours work, including travel, paid at time and a third
* Saturday work paid at time and a third; Sundays off
