Our Cancer Services has an exciting opportunity for a Developmental post for registered Nurses. Commencing as a Band 5 Nurse, working alongside our specialist SACT Nurses and Practice Development Nurses, you will complete a set of competencies, Objectives and the SACT course - All leading to an uplifted permanent Band 6 Specialist SACT Nurse!

Main duties of the job
What is involved?
Assessing patients prior to commencement of therapy.
Undertaking Identification of care plans.
Administering Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy and other Cancer/Haematological treatments including supporting therapy with subsequent support for advice regarding any complications.
Assessing patients' health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload of cancer patients.
Assisting in the delivery of care to meet the individual's health and wellbeing needs throughout the cancer treatment pathway.
Assist in maintaining and developing Cancer services and contribute to improvement within the services.
