Essential and Desirable Application
Essential criteria
1. BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification
2. HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer
3. Proven competency in DEXA scanning and general radiography
Desirable criteria
4. Postgraduate qualification or certification in DEXA scanning, osteoporosis management, or musculoskeletal imaging.
5. Leadership or management training
6. Previous experience of developing and implementing training programs for radiographic staff and students

13. Ability to train, mentor, and support radiographers, students, and other staff members in developing clinical competencies
14. Highly analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical, operational, and patient care challenges.
15. IT skills, with advanced levels of understanding of Microsoft office.
Desirable criteria
16. Presentation skills – the ability to present clearly, logically and thoughtfully on a given topic at short notice to a mix of levels.
17. Knowledge of NHS service improvement frameworks, including clinical governance, quality assurance (QA), and risk management
18. Experience in service development, including implementing new imaging protocols or expanding DEXA services
