HCB Widdows Mason is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Administrator to join our New Build team. This role presents an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in the residential property sector, specifically focusing on new build housing transactions. The ideal candidate will support our solicitors in managing cases efficiently while providing exceptional service to clients.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Assisting with the preparation and management of documentation related to new build properties.
* Conducting legal research and maintaining knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines.
* Managing client inquiries and providing updates throughout the transaction process.
* Opening and closing client files while ensuring compliance with legal standards and firm policies.
* Preparing and submitting documents for land registry and other property transactions.
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in the case management system.
* Coordinating with developers, surveyors, and mortgage brokers as necessary.
* Performing general administrative tasks to support the team, including scheduling meetings and managing calendars.
* Providing occasional reception cover as required.
Requirements
* Strong organizational and administrative skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and work under pressure.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
* Previous experience in a legal or property setting is preferred but not essential.
