About the Role
Your role as a Registered Nurse will involve acting as the person in charge, stepping in for the Manager when required, and ensuring high standards of care for our residents. Responsibilities include:
* Undertaking nursing tasks such as medication distribution, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding, and managing chronic medical conditions.
* Advising families and GPs about any changes in residents' conditions and involving them in ongoing care decisions.
* Supervising and deploying staff effectively to ensure all tasks are completed and residents' needs are met.
* Providing high-quality care through accurate assessment and planning.
About You
To succeed, you should embody our values of caring, supportiveness, honesty, respect, and accountability.
Our ideal candidate will:
* Hold a First Level qualification and current NMC registration.
* Have a minimum of 2 years' experience with up-to-date knowledge of care, supported by relevant post-basic qualifications.
* Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities.
* Have a solid understanding of care planning and its practical application.
