Are you an experienced Service Manager with a strong engineering background, ready to lead and develop a dedicated team? We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Service Manager to take full responsibility for our clients Service Department, supporting a wide range of agricultural and process industry customers across the UK. Your Key Responsibilities: Lead, manage, and support a team of Refrigeration Service Engineers and administrative staff. Plan, schedule, and allocate all service, maintenance, installation, and breakdown work. Manage the service rota and call-out system to ensure excellent customer coverage. Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships. Monitor department performance, control costs, and manage profitability. Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, FGas regulations, and company procedures. Recruit, train, and develop team members to achieve high performance. Identify new service opportunities and contribute to business growth. Drive continuous improvement in processes and customer service standards. What We're Looking For: Proven experience successfully managing a service department, ideally within refrigeration, HVAC, or a related engineering field. Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate a team. A technical understanding of refrigeration, HVAC, or dairy processing systems; a hands-on engineering background is highly desirable. Commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, costs, and profitability. Exceptional communication and customer relationship skills. A full UK driving licence is essential.
