* Liver Pathway and Surveillance
* Gynaecology – Unscheduled Bleeding
* Asthma (Children and Young People)
* Heart Palpitations
* Chest Pain
* Sleep Studies
* Urology
* Transnasal Endoscopy

Job responsibilities
* Provide clear leadership to CDC operational teams, ensuring staff are managed, developed, and motivated.
* Manage direct reports and support teams.
* Maintain effective working relationships across all clinical pathways.
* Act as the key link between clinical teams and division management.
* Ensure an open‑door policy and inclusive decision‑making involving frontline staff.
* Lead transparent, data‑informed decision‑making using evidence, insight and service‑user feedback.
* Mentor and develop clinical and operational staff, promoting an inclusive culture.
* Advocate for services at divisional and system levels, ensuring fair application of Trust and national policy.
* Lead collaborative work across multi‑disciplinary and multi‑agency teams, including health, education and social care.
* Participate in the Senior Manager Silver on‑call rota.
Strategic Direction
* Lead the strategic and operational decision‑making for the CDC, developing a clear business plan at year start and implementing it throughout the year.
* Act as a key member of the Divisional Management Team and represent the Division at Trust‑wide and external meetings.
* Work closely with the Divisional Director of Operations and Divisional Medical Director to communicate strategic priorities and align them with the Trust strategy.
* Translate Trust strategic objectives into an effective operational plan, considering local and national frameworks.
* Take operational management lead for commissioning/contracting processes related to CDC activity.
Person Specification
Essential
* Education to a masters degree level or equivalent experience.
* Recognised post‑graduate management qualification or equivalent experience.
* Significant general and operational management experience, including leading large multi‑disciplinary NHS groups.
* Proven record of managing significant operational/strategic change while maintaining high‑quality service provision.
* Experience in building and maintaining effective working relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
* Ability to develop staff potential through training, development and education initiatives.
* Strong leadership and influencing skills.
* Sound budgetary management experience.
* Experience in service redesign and project management.
Desirable
* Experience working with external organisations (GP practices, social services, community services, local authority, etc.).
* Experience in managing quality/clinical audit/clinical governance/risk management issues.
