SEN Learning Support Assistant - SEN Primary School, Eastbourne
£90 - £100 per day | Full-time, Long-term | Start ASAP

GSL Education is looking for a caring and committed SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a nurturing SEN primary school in Eastbourne, starting as soon as possible.
The Role
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with a range of special educational needs
* Assist with personal care needs, including toileting, feeding, and mobility support
* Help children access learning activities and develop independence
* Support communication, social skills, and emotional regulation
* Implement tailored learning strategies and interventions
* Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCo, therapists, and families
* Monitor and record student progress and achievements
You Have
* Experience working with children with SEN in education or care settings
* Willingness and ability to provide personal care with dignity and respect
* Understanding of diverse learning and physical needs
* Patient, nurturing, and positive approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
* Desirable: Primary school experience, knowledge of autism/physical disabilities, relevant SEN qualifications
