We are seeking a dynamic HR Business Partner to offer a blend of operational and strategic support within our Northern and Eastern European region (NEE). This role can be based in Prague, Warsaw, or Luton.
This role is critical to driving the implementation of the people strategy across Northern and Eastern Europe. You will be the HR interface to the Eastern Europe sales region and the go-to person for our colleagues based within the Eastern Europe employing entities, working in close alignment with the HR Manager – NEE. The successful candidate will focus on delivering impactful HR initiatives, fostering a culture of engagement, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and local compliance, whilst also being responsible for leading some HR activities across the NEE region and EMEA.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As Human Resource Business Partner for NEE you will be part of the HR team (4) and will be responsible for delivering impactful HR initiatives, fostering a culture of engagement, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and local compliance. You will partner the managers within the NEE team by working in close collaboration to translate regional business needs into operational HR activities.
A natural part of your role will be to support the HR Manager, NEE by providing creditable HR advice ensuring HR compliance in all of the countries within your responsibility. Enabling us to run our business, change, communications and annual HR processes, in a professional and correct way from an HR compliance perspective, whilst in turn supporting our vision to handle our employees in a professional, fair, and motivating way. This means, amongst other things, you will ensure that we have the appropriate knowledge, visibility and fulfilment of policy, processes, laws and regulations connected to labour code, work environment code, compensation & benefits, privacy and safety.
You will be the only HR resource interfacing into the Eastern Europe part of the business and therefore you will be responsible for fulfilment of work in close collaboration with the finance team, ensuring smooth operational flows connected to the employee experience. Your role will include administration at different levels.
Travel across Northern and Eastern Europe and EMEA is seen as a natural part of this job. On occasion it may also be necessary to travel outside EMEA.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and Implement regional HR agenda: Lead HR activities across NEE with your focus being Eastern Europe sales area and the local offices, ensuring the seamless execution of HR programs and alignment with both global and local business strategies.
• People Strategy Implementation: Collaborate with the HR Manager for NEE to support the design and execution of the overarching people strategy, ensuring consistent delivery and adaptability to the specific needs of Eastern European markets.
• Employee Relations and Compliance: Act as the main point of contact for employee relations in Eastern Europe, ensuring HR practices are compliant with local laws and regulations and that policies are applied consistently and fairly.
• Recruitment: Work with the HR Specialist on recruitment and onboarding to including ensuring that employment contracts are set up and issued. You will also help to lead and drive employment branding initiatives.
• Talent Management: Lead initiatives in talent acquisition, onboarding, development, and retention, working with the broader HR team to foster a high-performance culture and an engaged, skilled workforce.
• Performance Management: Facilitate the performance management process, coaching managers on best practices for goal setting, feedback, and development to drive high performance.
• Change Management: Work with the HR Manager and partner the management team to manage organizational changes effectively, including restructures, culture shifts, and new business priorities.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Provide insights and analytics on key HR metrics to inform decision-making and support strategic initiatives.
Key Qualifications
• Experience: Strong HR experience, with a strong background in HR business partnering or generalist roles within multinational organizations; experience in Eastern European markets is essential.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or relevant HR certifications (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) are a plus or local equivalent.
• Expertise: Strong understanding of local employment laws and HR practices within Eastern Europe, with a demonstrated ability to navigate complex employee relations issues.
• Skills: Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels and influence key stakeholders effectively.
Languages: Proficiency in English is required; at least one additional language spoken within the Eastern European region is a requirement for this role.
• Competencies: Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing business needs.
