Our Client is looking for an experienced Loss Adjuster to deal with complex Engineering & Construction claims across the South of England. This is a high-impact role managing major losses, site investigations, and stakeholder relationships across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure, plant, machinery, and construction-related risks. Key Responsibilities: Lead investigations into high-value engineering and construction claims, including machinery breakdown, structural failures, site incidents, etc. Conduct detailed site visits Prepare comprehensive reports for insurers, reinsurers, and legal teams Collaborate with brokers, contractors, surveyors to drive resolution Manage multiple claims concurrently, ensuring compliance with regulatory Mentor junior adjusters and contribute to technical development across the team Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, building codes, and engineering standards Candidate Profile: Proven experience in loss adjusting within engineering, construction, or technical claims Strong understanding of contractor's all risks (CAR), plant & equipment, and engineering policies Excellent analytical, negotiation, and report-writing skills Comfortable working independently across multiple sites and managing complex cases Relevant qualifications (e.g. ACII, CILA, or engineering degree) desirable Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the South of England Perks on Offer: Competitive base salary car allowance Flexible working arrangements with regional autonomy Opportunity to work on high-profile, technically challenging claims
